Water Transfer Technicians, Grande Prairie, AB

We are currently seeking Water Transfer Technicians to join our growing field operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for hardworking, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Water Transfer Technician plays a critical role in supporting water transfer and pumping operations in the field. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position where safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.
You will be responsible for operating equipment, supporting rig-in and rig-out activities, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of water between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Rig-in and Rig-out of water transfer and lease operations
- Operate and monitor pumps, tanks, and transfer systems to ensure efficient water movement
- Manage fluid levels in tanks, C-Rings, and ponds
- Operate field equipment including pumps, filtration units, crew trucks, tailers, and skid steers
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Participate in job safety meetings, hazard assessments, and training initiatives
- Complete and submit required documentation (field tickets, JSAs/JHAs, reports) accurately and on time
- Safely handle equipment and materials (lifting to 50 lbs)
- Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by Field Supervisors and Field Superintendents
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
- Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Previous experience in water transfer, pumping, or oilfield operations preferred
- Demonstrated focus on customer service and a commitment to safety

FIELD OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT – GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our team and seeking an additional Field Superintendent to support our pump and water transfer operations. This is a dynamic role that balances field leadership, customer engagement, safety leadership, and operational oversight, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scoping, and execution from start to finish
- Supervise rig-in and rig-out of water transfer systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients—anticipate needs and deliver exceptional service
- Oversee setup and teardown of modular tank systems and related infrastructure
- Operate and manage field equipment including pumps, filtration units, submersible pumps, and generators
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on field equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and compliance
- Supervise day-to-day field operations and support field personnel
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to deliver innovative and efficient solutions
- Support onboarding, training, and development of field technicians
- Promote and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs and procedures
- Lead safety meetings, job hazard assessments, and ongoing safety initiatives
- Foster a strong safety culture and mentor team members to support growth and performance
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation (field tickets, reports, safety documentation)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on pumping experience in oil & gas, including water transfer, long-line pumping, and modular tank operations
- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated team leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of field operations, equipment setup, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operational documents
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PDF tools)
- Experience in training, mentoring, and employee development
Working Conditions
- Combination of shop and field-based work, including outdoor environments in varying and extreme weather conditions

About the Role
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Project Manager plays a key role in managing client relationships and delivering end-to-end project execution across our fluid operations portfolio.
This is a client-facing, hands-on role that blends technical expertise, operational coordination, and commercial awareness. You will lead projects from planning through execution while ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project scopes, work plans, budgets, schedules, and execution strategies
- Lead project execution, coordinating field operations, clients, contractors, and internal teams

- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding needs and delivering responsive, high-quality service
- Prepare and review technical documentation including reports, plans, and operational designs

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in completions, water management, or fluid operations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of pumping systems, water transfer operations, and fluid management processes
- Experience developing process flow diagrams and pressure profiles for water systems is an asset
- Knowledge of project management best practices (PMI); PMP certification is an asset
- Experience with ERP systems and project tracking tools is an asset
- Solid understanding of relevant provincial and federal regulations
- Prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Field Supervisor – Fluid Operations to our team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a highly organized, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced field environment and is passionate about safety, operational excellence, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day and/or night shift field crews, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Lead and support field execution of fluid transfer operations, including rig-in, rig-out, pumping, and pigging
- Operate and oversee equipment such as pumps, filtration units, submersibles, and generators
- Perform basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Serve as a primary point of contact with on-site consultants and respond professionally to requests
