GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

Titan Energy Services Ltd., a privately owned oilfield service company, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Dispatcher/ Field Operations Coordinator. The successful candidate will be a demonstrated team player with a strong operations background, hands-on experience in Oil & Gas pumping operations, familiarity with basic accounting and capability of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Dispatching crews to job sites ensuring they have the correct equipment and resources to carry out the task assigned in an efficient manner while meeting our customers’ needs through superior customer service.
  • Maintain and manage Basecamp communication and documentation.
  • Manage field staff days/hours on duty.
  • Coordinate utilization of resources between terminals and inventory management.
  • Request and complete vehicle inspections, driver logs, and maintain authorized driver profiles.
  • Ensure that all trip report paperwork is completed accurately and on time for driver pay calculations and finalization as required.
  • Assist with project cost control including Purchase Order and Change Order Management. Track all third-party equipment utilization and costing.
  • Work with the Human Resources and HSE, ensuring that all required training and safety certificates are up to date.
  • Perform equipment checks and coordinate with third parties and internal resources regarding repairs, inspections, and regular maintenance.
  • Take ownership of the local branch, including product knowledge and facility management, to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Maintain site maps, procedure manuals, HSE and manuals.
  • Act as the first respondent to report incidents from the terminal to EMR group.
  • Complete project and job close-outs when required.
  • Provide ongoing support to all project stakeholders including but not limited to Vice President of Operations, Field supervisors, Project and Operational coordinators, Inspectors, Consultants, Clients, and Contractors.
  • Ability to work shiftwork or be on call (including weekends). A shift of ten days on and four days off is required (currently under review and subject to change). Must be available on an on-call basis 24 hours per day, when on shift.

KEY ATTRIBUTES, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Technical / Operational 

  • Sound understanding of fieldwork, sites, equipment, and regulations.
  • Experience with water pumping operations; long-line, in-lease pumping, water transfer, with a solid understanding of fluid transfer operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of field management logistics.
  • Modular tank groundwork set up and tear-down experience an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High School/GED, with 1-2 years’ experience in Dispatch, Operations or Scheduling.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF).
  • Candidates with directly related field work, field management logistics or water pump operations experience are considered an asset.

Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, Grande Prairie, AB

JOURNEYMAN HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC – GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

Titan is searching for an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to work under the direction of our Branch Manager, performing duties related to the maintenance, repair and upkeep of company vehicles and equipment. 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provide routine service, diagnosis, repair, assembly, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, including regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Read, understand and apply information from technical manuals, diagrams and schematics for work procedures.
  • Inspects vehicles and equipment to detect deficiencies and damage.
  • Ensures vehicles and equipment meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain shop supplies and tools, ensuring all tools and equipment are in safe working condition.
  • Track yard/shop inventory and ensure items are inspected after each project.
  • Work closely with dispatch to prioritize pre-use inspections on items due for delivery to customers.
  • Travel to other bases to perform mechanical duties as required.
  • Lifting of equipment and tools required, up to 50lbs.
  • Act in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation and Practices, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Duties may change from time to time and will be assigned by Branch Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification required.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, will be required to supply a driver’s abstract.
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) License an asset.
  • Current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, 2015 WHMIS (Titan), TDG (Titan), EGSO (Titan).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Heavy lifting, up to 50lbs required.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service and a commitment to safety.
  • Occasional travel throughout Alberta required
