GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

Titan is searching for an enthusiastic, solutions driven individual, to work closely with our field operations team by
playing a key role in crew dispatch, resource distribution and inventory management, assisting with project cost control,
and monitoring employee compliance with company safety standards. This is a varied and testing role as you will
balance the responsibilities of the day to day operations by taking ownership of your local branch, while fostering a great
work environment consistent with company culture and corporate values.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of field work, sites, equipment and regulations. You will have
experience with water pumping operations, including long-line, in-lease pumping, and water transfer, with a solid
understanding of fluid transfer operations. You possess excellent organization skills, the ability to multi-task, and thrive in
a team environment. You are also a great problem solver and pride yourself on excellent communication.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Dispatch crews to the job site, ensuring they have the equipment and resources required for success.
  • Manage and maintain Basecamp communication and documentation.
  • Track field employee days/hours on duty to ensure compliance with company and industry regulation.
  • Coordinate utilization of resources between terminals and inventory management.
  • Request and complete vehicle inspections, driver logs, and maintain authorized driver profiles.
  • Work with the Human Resources and Safety & Compliance teams, ensuring that all required training and safety
    certificates are up to date.
  • Schedule equipment checks and vehicle repairs, inspections, and regular maintenance.
  • Take ownership of product knowledge and facility management to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Maintain site maps, procedure manuals, HSE manuals.
  • Provide ongoing support to all project stakeholders including but not limited to Vice President of Operations, Field
    supervisors, Project and Operational coordinators, Inspectors, Consultants, Clients and Contractors.
  • Ability to work a shift of fifteen days on, and six days off, is required (subject to change). Must be available on an
    on-call basis 24 hours per day, when on shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High School/GED, with 1-3 years’ experience in Dispatch, Operations or Scheduling preferred.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF).
  • Project Management Certificate or equivalent PMI Courses considered an asset.
  • Directly related field work or water pump operations experience an asset.
  • A combination of administrative experience and directly related field work, field management logistics or water
    pump operations experience will be considered.

  • Administer project deliverables, financial plans, and schedules, upholding adherence to the company’s Quality Assurance standards and protocols.
  • Compile and analyze both published and site-specific data to formulate an understanding of site conditions, effectively communicating critical site issues.

Supervisor - Fluid Operations, Grande Prairie, AB

 

SUPERVISOR – FLUID OPERATIONS, – GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA

Titan Energy Services provides cost-effective, integrated fluid management solutions to the oil and gas sector. With a vast oilfield history, Titan was founded by industry veterans to provide a better way of handling drilling and fracturing fluids. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team as Supervisor-Fluid Operations. This position comes with a wide range of responsibilities that will require you to be highly organized and adaptable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise Crew Shifts (Day and/or Night Operations)
  • Managing equipment operations- Pumps, filtration units, Submersibles, Gensets and Other equipment.
  • Perform light repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working order.
  • Participating in job safety meetings & training – follow through with any initiatives.
  • Completing required paperwork, field tickets, JSA, and other as required and submitting in timely manner.
  • Dealing with Consultants on each job, responding proficiently to requests.
  • Responsible for job inventory reporting, documentation 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Technical/Operational

  • Sound understanding of field work, terminology, products etc.
  • Proficient in fluid transfer operations – including rig in/out, pumping, pigging operations.
  • Experience with all types of pumping equipment and rig in/out equipment (skid steers, sxs etc)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to read and interpret various drawings & documents.

General/Management

  • Current certification in (or willing to obtain):
    • 2015 WHMIS
    • First Aid
    • H2S
    • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
    • Skid Steer Certification
    • Lifting of tools and equipment, up to 50 lbs.
    • Safety Supervision training
    • Demonstrate a commitment and accountability to uphold Titan’s strict safety standards.

KEY ATTRIBUTES, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 to 6 years previous experience or equivalent in Oil & Gas service industry
  • Minimum 5 years Supervisory Experience

  • Must possess a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract.
